I have a strong drive to help others, and I have found many different ways of doing this, including volunteering, working as an EMT, coaching youth sports, and working as a tutor. I especially love tutoring students because I love helping kids set goals and work toward achieving their fullest potential. I received my bachelor's degree in biochemistry at Wheaton College in Massachusetts. I also received my MBA in Healthcare at Simmons College. Because I've gone through undergraduate and graduate school, I am very familiar with college entrance exams and can help students improve their test scores on the ACT and MCAT. I love tutoring students in life sciences as well, because these subjects are part of our daily lives. I can work with students who need help in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, and physiology. I can also help students who need tutoring in mathematics like algebra, calculus, and statistics. I try to make my tutoring sessions fun and engaging so that students can really jump headfirst into their coursework. When I'm not working hard as a tutor, I love to spend time outdoors and play lacrosse. I also love working on puzzles, exercising, and reading.
