I've 10 years of experience as a teacher, and I worked with students in every subject at the middle school and elementary school level. I'm certified to teach special education, ESL, and history. I've had a lot of opportunity to work with special needs students and English language learners during my career. I've also been tutoring for the past several years. I love tutoring because I get to work with students one-on-one and focus my approach on their unique learning style and individual needs. For younger students, tutoring also gives me an opportunity to form a team with the student's family - and teacher whenever possible - to keep an eye the student's goals and help the student achieve them.
