I consider education to be very important. I work hard to make sure my students are learning the subject matter and not merely memorizing information for a test. My teaching is student-centered and I encourage them to take an active role in their education.I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Middle School Education from Merrimack College. I earned my master's degree in education at the University of Massachusetts in Boston in 2010. I tutor ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Geography, World History, Social Studies, and English for both English-speaking students and those for whom English is a second language.When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading, skating, running, and attending sporting events such as football, baseball, and hockey games.
